11.30 - 12.30 Panel on youth radicalisation among Sudanese.

2.15 - 2.50 Dr. Chris Vaughan, Lecturer in African History, Liverpool John Moores University: Making the state in Condominium Darfur: Violence, accommodation and the legacies of the sultans.
2.50 - 3.20 Tea/coffee break
3.20 - 3.55 Dr. Mansour Khalid, former Foreign Affairs Minister and former Advisor to John Garang, will launch his latest book, The paradox of two Sudans: The CPA and the road to partition.
3.55 - 4.25 Sudanese singer Shurooq Abuelnas and keyboard player Mohamed Makki bring our meeting to a melodic close.

Advance booking is needed to secure a ticket for the symposium lunch. (The ticket will be waiting for you when you register.)

Non-members are welcome to participate in the Symposium. The day's programme will also include SSSUK's Annual General Meeting, in which non-members may observe but not vote. There is no charge for members who wish to attend the AGM only.
