Dr Rebecca Bradshaw is an award-winning researcher, writer and editor focussing on the Middle East and North Africa. She trained as an archaeologist at the University of Cambridge and has been living and working throughout the region since 2010. Rebecca began working in Sudan in early 2011, first at various archaeological sites along the Nile Valley and later, from 2015, as an ethnographer and community liaison for UCL Qatar at Meroe. She currently works as a consultant for Small Arms Survey and as a writer for Al-Monitor.
