The Internet Archive General archive The 'texts' section contains more than 250 full-text items on Sudan, including many books from the early- and pre-condominium period. Audio and moving image sections of the archive also include interesting Sudan-related material.
Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Development and aid Leading UK think tank on development and aid. Typing "Sudan" in their website search box brings up an interesting selection of reports and news items.
Pitt Rivers Museum Traditional cultures The museum's project 'Recovering the Material and Visual Cultures of the Southern Sudan: A Museological Resource' holds more than 1300 artefacts and 5000 photographs, which can conveniently be searched and viewed online.
Rift Valley Institute (RVI) Society, politics, aid Research and training organisation particularly strong on Sudan. Its website contains a large and eclectic internet resource page on Sudan. RVI also oversees the Sudan Open Archive, a searchable database providing access to the full text of hundreds of reports and other publications, mostly from the last 20 years.
