The SSSUK Committee invites you to join a group helping to plan and organize the 2025 symposium in London in September. Every year the Committee chooses speakers and themes that we think will be of interest to members - whether it be about Sudan, South Sudan, or the diaspora, about the distant past, current events, or the future. We are keen to hear the voices of young members in our discussions. Some of our most popular recent sessions have been those led by and about the latest diaspora generation and, last year, by two fantastic poets. One theme we’re working on this year is ‘Peace and Resilience’. Join us to make your own contribution and enliven the symposium programme with your own topics, issues and questions - things that interest and concern you.
