Issue #72 of "Sudan Studies"

The August 2025 issue no. 72 of SSSUK's journal Sudan Studies is now available. We send a big thank you to Charlotte Martin the editor and all those who have contributed to and supported the publication of this issue. This latest 176-page issue includes an article by Kholood Khair on the prevailing myths of the current war in Sudan, and articles on Community well-being in Scotland, the work of the Women's Education Partnership, Wildlife conservation in South Sudan, Sporting Greeks in Sudan, Tebeldi trees, Trucks, airliners, trains and steamers, and a section of book reviews and reappraisals.
